special skills or abilities;; Yuna has very strong natural mental defenses, meaning that it is incredibly difficult to brainwash her or invade her mind at all. Even the most skilled practitioners of mental magic will have difficulty entering her mind. Mental attacks or attempts to brainwash targeting large groups will almost always leave her unaffected. Her birth parents were aware of this, and used a magical artifact in their possession to strengthen them slightly and to lock some of their more sensitive research notes and knowledge in her head. Yuna has no knowledge of her defenses or the information that is in her head- she actually doesn't have the ability to access it. The defenses are simply there without her knowledge and the information is locked to her.

personality;; Rather sweet, if clueless and naïve, Yuna means well in most of her actions. She may be a little shy, but she's very close to the friends she has, and will often go out of her way to do things for them. This trait tends to extend to people she wants to become friends with, and probably stemming from the fact that her adoptive parents have always kept her at a distance for reasons unknown to her. This distance has lead Yuna to be a little jealous of people who are very close with their families, and has also given her a bit of a desire to make something of a family of her own- in particular, to find people to be like siblings to her.

Yuna also tends to be a little clueless when dealing with things not related to something she's interested in, and especially when it comes to love. She has very idealistic and naïve ideas about love and the world in general, and is of the belief that everything will work out in the end somehow. She also tends to get upset when something or someone challenges these ideas. Yuna's also easily embarrassed, and either gets very awkward or rather upset when she is, depending on the situation. Usually she ends up getting awkward.

history;; Born Bethany Tarleton, she was kidnapped shortly after birth and taken in by the Ise family. They changed her name so as to make it less obvious who she was, and as far as can be told, it's worked. Despite that, Yuna's always been a bit of an outsider, partially due to her looks, but also because she never really felt that she fit in. For reasons unknown to her, her adoptive parents always seemed to be a little uncomfortable around her, keeping her at an arms distance and sometimes even seeming a little afraid of her. They never outright neglected or abused Yuna, but they have never been extremely close to her.

While growing up, Yuna's closest friends were the children of several of her adoptive parents' friends, including Akemi Araceli and Chifuyu Kanzaki. She's made a few other friends over the years, but is still closest with the two of them. Possibly another quirk of the distance between her and her parents, Yuna is still very attached to the unicorn plushie named Leonardo that she used to sleep with when she was younger, the only thing she has from her birth parents, though she's not actually aware that her birth parents gave him to her. She's often asked about her birth parents, as she's fully aware that she is adopted, but has never gotten a straight answer about them, and so assumes that they were either abusive or simply didn't care.
