Stay in Character! (Akemi)

"And you're sure this is the best way to awaken the princess?" came the somewhat gravelly voice of, oddly enough, a dachshund/shiba inu mix who sat on a teenage girl's bed.

"Listen, Dwayne, I've thought about this a lot and the best way to get her to remember is to do something familiar! Something that will speak to her in a way that just words won't do. Something exciting and jarring enough that she has no choice but to remember!" Chifuyu responded as she looked headlong into the vanity mirror, applying the last of her makeup.

"Nibiru, my name is Arminius!" the dog protested, somehow rolling its eyes in resignation, "And anyway, what's with the clown makeup?"

"It's not clown makeup! It's for a dark, mysterious warrior who's returned to confront the past on a mission of justice!" the girl insisted as she finished the last bit of black lipstick. She pursed her lips, "There! All ready for the reveal for Akemi-chan!"

Chifuyu stood up, admiring the costume she'd thrown together for what was for all intents and purposes an intervention. Black tights like what she might wear in the ring during training with her cousin accompanied a black tank top. Obviously her boots were black as well, heavy footwear with large two large buckles on either side of the tongue. Her face was painted ghostly white with only some black lines scrolling up and away from her eyes and black lipstick. With her hair pulled back and deliberately wet so it had that stringy quality to it, she looked the part perfectly! Add the long coat that was admittedly a little too girly for this gimmick with its pink-on-black hearts and she was ready for her cousin's arrival. Already she'd hooked up speakers to her laptop, ready to play the entrance theme which corresponded to the gimmick when Akemi set foot in the two floor apartment/rental house kind of place her aunt lived in. Add some strobe lights and lightning sound effects and she had everything she needed to succeed in her mission!

That mission was of vital importance to Chifuyu. She hadn't been awakened all that long but the memories which had flooded in were enough to make her affections for Akemi all the stronger. A princess whom she'd given her life to protect and now who might be in more danger than she realized. Who knew what villains would discover the unawakened Sailor Scorpius and try to destroy her before she could defend herself? Even though awakening the senshi inside Akemi would place her squarely in harm's way, it was the only way to ensure the girl was better suited to fight the heels who would come after her. Plus she admittedly wanted to try and get it right this time, to protect her princess and finally, finally confess to her! But first they had to make Akemi remember.. and that meant going full kayfabe to strike a chord with the Aracelli prodigy's memory. Her inspiration this time was a legend who'd just reappeared in a major promotion for the first time in over a decade. It'd gotten her all excited to see the commercial he'd done for a video game, and now she was honoring that with her own take on his character.

Suddenly she heard the front door open, feet stepping inside. She'd called Akemi and asked her to come over for something very important without explaining what was going on. Hopefully that'd been enough to get the girl's attention and bring her to Chifuyu's home. It was show time! She hit the lightning sound effects first, an eerie sound in the fully darkened apartment. Time to see how the visitor reacted to this!

Visiting Chifu was not a new experience. Akemi could have walked from her home to her cousin's blindfolded. She had done it before, so she should know. The reasons for making such trips always varied. A good number of them involved training of some variety. Other times had very little reason, whatsoever. Akemi always enjoyed her cousin's company. Chifu was always fun and now, more than ever, she really wanted to spend some time with her.

Her father still wasn't quite the same. Sure, his recovery was progressing well enough. He would probably be ready to perform in the ring ahead of the doctor's projections. Which would normally be rather exciting news. But, Akemi couldn't shake the feeling that something had left him a bit shaken. More than the physical injuries, it was the shame of losing his mask. That thought could still make her blood boil.

As suddenly as that strange man had made his appearance, the one known as Ultimo Diablo had vanished. Akemi had spent a great deal of time trying to track him down, but her efforts always seemed to be wasted. She couldn't find any evidence that he even existed, other than the tape of her father's fight with him. And she had studied that tape. Studied and prepared. Because one day, she would find him. When she did, Akemi would make sure he paid for what he did. She would take back he father's mask, tear that black monstrosity from his own face and return home with the pride of the Araceli family restored.

Well, that was the simplified version of her plan, anyways.

Meanwhile, her father was in her mother's care. She had managed to keep him from totally losing his spirit, which Akemi was grateful for. She just wished that they could be a little less..."loud" about it. Which was partly the reason she was so relieved to get that call from Chifu. The girl wasn't all that specific about what she wanted to see her about, but she was glad to leave her house, whatever the reason.

Dressed in her usual yellow hooded track jacket, she added loose fitting black tank top and a pair of olive green cargo shorts. Sneakered feet fell along the familiar sidewalk that led to the modest apartment where Chifuyu lived. The door was open and granted easy enough access. But, the inside was dark. She kicked her shoes off, before she heard lightening.

That was curious. Her senses perked, Akemi took her hands out of her pockets and looked around as she waited for her eyes to adjust to the darker environment. Whatever was going on, she would likely need to be ready.

The moment had come at last! All of this planning for how to best break the news to Akemi that she was actually a warrior princess in more than the figurative sense had come to fruition. Now it was time to put the plan into action and reap the benefits of her foresight and brilliant planning. Hearing someone step deeper into the apartment Chifuyu glanced back at Dwayne and grinned. Her companion was decidedly nonplussed by her enthusiasm and went back to resting his head on her pillow. As the thunder sound effects continued Chifu dared to peer downstairs and confirm the identity of her guest. If it were some unwelcome intruder.. well, they'd eat a flying top stairs clothesline or something. All that training hadn't been for nothing after all! Thankfully she made out the form of a girl who was clearly her beloved cousin. As the princess arrived her champion was already putting the next portion of her plan into action.

"Aaand cue music," she whispered as she hit 'play' on the entrance theme.

Its haunting melody, played by an orchestra, wafted downstairs thanks to some portable speakers Chifu had picked up recently. Then the strobe lights hit and began flashing more or less in time with the thunder sounds. Excellent! With everything going well she stood up, grabbed her baseball bat and stepped out into the hall. Slowly she took deliberate steps that would easily be heard downstairs by the most awesome luchador in the world (by Chifu's standards at least). Atop the stairs and in full view of her cousin as the lights flickered again she just stared ominously for a few moments. Slowly the bat raised and was pointed at Akemi - probably not a wise decision considering Akemi's heightened awareness at the moment. Without speaking a word she turned and began to descend the stairs, looking fully intent on making Akemi's day more painful. Of course this was ruined the moment Chifu lost her footing and fell forward, hitting her fate on a stair as she tumbled down the stairs. Not her greatest moment. Thankfully her training had taught her how to fall in a way that minimized damage. Still she'd probably have a bloody nose for her trouble, not that she was aware of the impact that had caused it.

Still in character, she pointed the bat at Akemi again and slowly got to her feet as blood trickled down from a fresh cut just over her right eye. When she spoke it was just one word, "Scoooorpiooon.."

Upstairs, Dwayne was doing the canine equivalent of a facepalm.

More thunder, strobe lights and music continued to pull at her attention. Akemi kept her focus. She had always prided herself on that (well, she prided herself on lots of things, but that's besides the point). Something was up and it was probably something that was Chifu's doing. She did like doing things like this.

Akemi grinned as Chifu built the mood. Then, footsteps joined the collection of sound, followed by a figure at the top of the stairs. So, it was some impromptu sparring she wanted, was it? Well, Akemi could certainly accommodate this. Her grin widened as the girl began to descend down the stairs.

Shrugging off her track jacket, she tossed it behind her. It was a blind toss, but she knew it would find it's way atop one of the couches in the living room. As it sailed through the air, however, her cousin was also flying. Not by choice, either. The trip looked rather nasty, but didn't dissuade Chifuyu from popping right back, crimson mask and all, and delivering her line as if nothing had happened.

Akemi blinked, "Ah...Chifu...that's a nasty cut." she hated to break character, but Chifu was always pushing herself so hard. Those injuries could get worse if she kept going like she was prone to doing. Not that that meant she was going to put the bat down, anytime soon. It was still pointed right at her and was at a considerably closer distance, now. If her cousin really wanted to spar, than she would have to be ready to subdue her as quick as possible, so she could go grab some band aids.

Once again, it was good that she had spent so much time here, that she knew just where to go.

Any other girl would have felt the painful fall and cut that had resulted in red decorating her face along with the white and black. You just didn't fall down stairs without feeling something was out of order. Chifuyu on the other hand was so invested in her character that she wouldn't have noticed it even if she could feel it. Since she had that rather peculiar disorder which prevented her from feeling pain even experiencing the sensation of pain was out. Her cousin's reaction to the entrance was enough to make the brunette break character as well, wondering if Akemi saw something she didn't. This sort of thing was way more common than it should be after all, so it wouldn't be surprising to find Akemi was right. Even though she was fine carrying on the intervention it bothered her guest when she pushed herself too hard when there was a clear injury.

So Chifu lowered the bat and blinked in surprise as she wondered if she really was bleeding. Akemi didn't seem to have been affected by her entrance at all, no memories jump started or anything. Her princess was still yet to fully realize her potential. Another failing that Chifu was going to take personally as was her tendency with such things. Only she could awaken the girl safely and rightly, and here she'd failed. First she couldn't save Scorpius when the kingdom was under attack and now she couldn't bring out the true warrior inside Akemi. What good was she as a guardian? Chifu sighed and then set her bat on the floor leaning up against the sofa.

"I am? It sure doesn't feel like it, Kemi.. I mean, I guess it's possible and all," she remarked as she reached up to her face and found that there was in fact blood there. With a laugh she added, "Guess that's what I get for making it too dark in here! So was that a good entrance? Did I spook you.. or.. maybe reach something deep in your heart?"

There would be some who might be startled by how difficult it was for Chifu to recognize pain. But, Akemi knew her far too well to be caught by surprise. There was nothing new about the girl attempting to power through whichever injury may have befallen her. Eventually, the girl did see fit to recognize the fresh wound and the blood that was currently doing a number on her makeup.

"That's the risk of making an entrance so dark and moody." she grinned and leaned against the sofa, next to Chifu, "Especially when stairs are involved."

She laughed and gave an affectionate slap on her back, "Let me get something for that cut...and to clean up the rest of that." Akemi started for where the medical supplies were kept, before Chifu asked about the finer points of her entrance. The princess (though she was yet to be made aware of that title) paused in the doorway and looked back at her cousin, "Quite spooky! The thunder and the strobe lights were an amazing touch! You do need to stick that landing, though. Other than that, I don't think I could have done better, myself! And believe me, I can certainly perform an astounding entrance!"

She flashed one more grin, before departing for the proper cabinet. She fished out a facecloth and a couple of band aids. Grabbing a bowl of water, she returned to the living room, ready to tend to her cousin's wound.

Usually a hug, kiss or similarly affectionate gesture would have been what set a girl's heart all aflutter when it came from the person they liked. This was someone that Chifuyu trained with all the time, which was a fairly unladylike thing to do to begin with. Therefore a more masculine slap on the back was just as much an affectionate gesture as any of those things. Surely she still thought about getting a kiss from her second cousin but this was enough for now. Even though no one would be able to see it beneath her makeup she was blushing at the friendly pat. Such a vibrant, cheerful princess needed to be protected at all costs! With her memories back, kind of, Chifu was absolutely determined to never lose her dear princess again. Saying goodbye once had been too much heartache, too much to bear for a warrior who was supposed to protect her. Rather than defend her cousin, Akemi was always looking after her her instead - always cleaning up her wounds and treating her injuries, always looking after her. No, this wouldn't do! Chifuyu had to protect her!

When her cousin offered her opinion on the entrance, Chifu's heart leaped for joy. It had been excellent in execution other than the tripping, which was something that could be practiced a bit more to improve it. However there was absolutely no hint that it'd had any more effect beyond the superficial spookiness on Akemi. No odd feelings of ennui or deja vu. Nothing. Her attempt to awaken the princess inside had failed with that trip, and now she had to figure out what to try next. Maybe a different gimmick would do the trick. In fact Chifu could think of several off the top of her head that might be just the thing! Much as she wanted to run off and change so that she could try them out, it would be rude to just walk out on Akemi. So they'd just have to hang out a bit and talk until the opportunity presented itself.

"So.. do you think it was championship-level astounding? I was channeling one of the legends of the squared circle on that one," Chifu explained as she fished through her school bag to retrieve her belt. This would be the first time she'd shown her cousin the DCW Championship belt, so hopefully it'd get a good reaction.

As her cousin reappeared she added, "But I think that mustachioed baker.. or the evil nun.. or maybe the Yule Cat would be better. Y'know, getting all original and stuff.. it's hard to get something unique when it's all been done before isn't it? Anyway.. I'm glad you came over, Kemi, it's always really great to see you! I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you to.. um.. practice holds with.. and stuff."

"Of course! I have an incredible eye for talent, after all." Akemi nodded her head, as if this statement was a matter of fact and had never been up for debate. "Going for the Stinger, weren't you?"

She set down all of the supplies and got down to the business of cleaning her cousin up. Akemi smirked as she took the cloth and wiped away the blood and makeup. It was tricky, not because she was worried about hurting Chifuyu (causing that kind of physical discomfort seemed to be physically impossible), but more about making the cut worse. So, she was careful as cleaned around the wound, so she could slap a band aid on that. It wasn't a very bad cut, luckily for her.

"Those are all fine gimmicks." she said, "I wouldn't worry about being unique, though. Just go with something you can have fun with and that you know you can perform. The most important part, after all, is how well you can sell the action in the ring."

She finished cleaning up and got out the band aid, making sure to apply it to Chifu's forehead, above her right eye. "There ya go! Another top notch first-aid job from the Amazing One, herself!" clearly proud of herself, Akemi rested her hands on her hips and nodded her head, "And I'm glad you asked me over, Chifu! I'm always happy to train people who want to achieve a high level of greatness through the Araceli System!"

Akemi gave a broad grin and thrust a hand out with a thumbs up, "Especially if it's my cousin! I'm on call 24/7, as any good Champion is!"

When you fell for someone it really did help if they shared some interests with you so that you could have conversations like normal people. In that light Chifuyu was very grateful that she'd taken such a shining to Akemi Aracelli, with whom she had much in common. Even if it really was fate that had brought them into each other's lives this time around that was still a stroke of luck. Akemi knew just what effect the DCW Champion had been going for with the failed attempt at awakening. That made Chifu smile in satisfaction even while her cousin worked on cleaning up her wound. As always the princess of the ring was incredibly supportive in her critique of Chifu's abilities and choices, which made it a little painful honestly. Here she had this girl who was so supportive and helpful, whom she had loved in their last life, whom she wanted to protect, but that girl didn't remember their connection. Nibiru did remember, and Nibiru was going to fight for her princess.. even if that princess didn't recognize her.

"But isn't an important part of the formula the character that you present to the fans? You don't just go out there as Akemi Aracelli.. you go out as the masked Amazing Akemi! Daughter of the famous Golden Caesar and future world champion! That's why I want to make sure that I pick just the right gimmick to use so that I can shine as brightly as you. I'm not Chifuyu Kanzaki to the fans.. I must be.. the holiday monster, the Yule Cat!" she responded energetically, fidgeting unintentionally as her cousin tried to clean up her face.

Chifu blushed when Akemi finished, feeling as if an angel had just touched her and healed the wounds she hadn't known she had. The girl was right there, smiling beautifully as always, within Chifu's reach and certainly within the reach of a tight hug of thanks. Maybe something more? No! Not now! Wait for a more romantic moment! Instead she laughed and applauded the first aid job while fighting to get her blush under control. If only the girl knew how special she was. In the meantime she'd just have to enjoy the time they sent together as much as possible, hope for a miracle and do her best to protect her princess. For now maybe classing things up a little wouldn't hurt.

"Thanks for the assist, partner! I couldn't ask for anyone better than the champion to help me out when I make a mistake like that. Speaking of which.. feast your eyes on this!" Chifu held out her homemade belt and grinned proudly, "I'm the DCW Champion! I pinned Ultimo Diablo for the belt and everything.. um.. or I pretended to. Because I thought it would impress you.."

Sweatdropping, she changed gears and asked, "So! How about we have some tea to celebrate.. being cousins? Does that sound good?"

"Oh, sure it is." Akemi agreed, "But remember, they need to see a complete performance. Connecting with the right gimmick is certainly important. Just keep trying things out. And don't worry. You've got the talent to support anything you can come up with."

As fun as it was to to see all the ideas that Chifu could come up with, Akemi did want to see her finally figure something out. And frankly, she spent a little too much time worrying about it. It was a problem almost as bad her tendency to fight on through her injuries. She tried very hard.

Chifu cheered and blushed upon the completion of her task. She continued to grin, broadly as Chifu grabbed something that she wanted the Araceli girl to see. Out came a makeshift championship belt, held together with duct tape and the love and care that had gone into it's creation.

"You did, huh?" she said, "That's awesome! Hold that strap with pride!"

Hearing the name "Ultimo Diablo" was not one she often relished in hearing. But, with Chifu, she found herself remarkably well controlled. Her cousin was probably the only person who could mention that man's name without sending Akemi off into a burst of anger.

"Well, if you ever do fight him for real...leave a piece left for me, alrigh?" she winked and managed to grin wider, "Now a celebration does sound good! Where's the tea?"

"Of course! You need to be able to pair in ring talent with a winning gimmick for sure! Otherwise you'll just end up famous for wearing jeans, a vest-cape and sparkly helmet and tripping, instead of actually doing something awesome in the ring. Don't you worry, Sc.. I mean, Kemi! The Yule Cat's got your back and knows how to handle herself in the squared circle," Chifu responded with a proud grin as she gave her title belt a friendly pat, not unlike a favored pet.

Getting the approval of her cousin for the DCW Championship belt made her feel ten feet tall and sent her heart racing. The Amazing Akemi, her princess, had just validated the homemade belt! That alone elevated it from just cardboard, tape and love to a legitimate championship to be worn and defended with the pride of a true champion. More than the title it validated the girl's efforts to live up to the expectations of championship victories which ran in the family. She had some idea how her cousin felt about the nefarious Ultimo Diablo, but never quite seemed to remember that bringing him up wasn't necessarily a good idea. Some day, she was convinced, they'd get their revenge on him or her and win back the Golden Caesar's mask! No way was she letting her princess go it alone when it came to that evil luchador, though. They were a team and teams never went solo when they were so close! Letting Akemi do anything remotely dangerous alone terrified Chifu, worried that she might lose the precious girl once again. One time had been enough. So the idea of teaming up on the bad guy made her very happy as she stood up to go fetch the tea and a couple of glasses.

"Don't you worry, partner. He's gonna get smashed up in that ring almost beyond recognition, have his body twisted in ways not humanly imaginable, and eat at least 3 Original Sins.. but as he's struggling to return to his feet a broken, twisted version of the villain who wronged a hero, he'll still be able to look you in the eyes. And do nothing but scream in terror as you rip that mask right off his face.. then we're going to ensure he can never humiliate a true champion again! If you smeeeeeellll.. what the Yule Cat.. is serving for brunch!" Chifuyu responded to her cousin as she poured the home-made and iced tea into the mismatched beer glasses her aunt haphazardly collected in her travels. With a wink, she walked back into the living room with the glasses and offered one to her cousin.

"It's lemon tea, I hope that's okay. Nice and chilled for a day like today," she explained, despite the fact that it was very mild outside.

The pride that radiated from Chifu could almost light up the darkened room they were standing in. Akemi couldn't help but grin as that cardboard belt received it's affectionate pat. Chifu was about as energetic as she usually was, which was always a good thing to see. Not that the promise of delivering the epic beating to end all epic beatings to one Ultimo Diablo wasn't a surefire bet to lift Akemi's spirits high into the heavens.

"I'm sure we'll lay one helluva smack down on him!" Akemi agreed, fist clenched before her, "Because you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna take this sneaker here, of mine. Shine it up reeeeeeeeeeal nice. Turn it sideways and stick it right up his culo!"

While Chifu got the tea, Akemi found the lights and provided a better ability to see in the living room. A simple hop over the couch landed her in a comfortable sitting position, while her cousin presented her with a wink and a stein full of iced tea. She accepted both the drink and the nonsensical explanation with a grin.

"Haha! Thanks, Chifu!" she said, before clinking her glass against the DCW Champ's, "Salud!"

She took a quick swig, testing out the flavor and found it to be quite refreshing. Even if it was only a very mild day, that didn't prevent her from enjoying a drink with her favorite cousin.

Clearly the princess who'd come to visit was an excellent match for Chifuyu Kanzaki. Not only did they train together and thus know each other's strengths and weaknesses intimately, but they could have conversations like this. Starting off with talk of wrestling characters and then outright referencing them while somehow still remaining on topic after all. Some day, she vowed, they really would get their hands on the villain who'd harmed her uncle and dish out Yuletide Beatings for his crimes. Until then she could enjoy the company of the amazing Akemi Aracelli, sharing small talk and drinks with her.

"You're very welcome, Kemi! Kanpai!" Chifuyu responded in kind to her cousin's toast and took a much more conservative sip of her tea.

Not because this was the ladylike thing to do, but because she could peer over her glass and watch Akemi drink her own glass. Probably that wasn't the healthiest thing to do but she always had a hard time taking her eyes off of the girl. Getting her memories back didn't help matters any either. Rather it just served to make her want to either prevent her cousin from ever awakening so that bad monsters wouldn't come after her, or speed the process along so she could defend herself better. That was a debate she'd been having in her heart and mind for a long time since discovering her true past and its connection to her princess. Though she'd been trying to brainstorm ways to achieve the latter, the former was still a potentially viable option. So long as she never lost the girl again, that was the important part. Chifu was so focused on this that she didn't realize what she was going to say until it came spilling out of her mouth.

"So my aunt's going to be out of town on business for a week or two, and I'd be more than happy to host you for a sleepover today if you'd like. Just two champions relaxing on a day like today, talking about their hopes.. their dreams.. their loves.." Chifuyu realized what she was doing, blushed, and then giggled nervously, "I mean, if you want. I'm happy to have you over here anytime.. and I really want to be your tag team partner whenever you need me."

While it could certainly be said that, by spending so much time together (including training and other activities), Akemi and Chifu were often on the same page. Sometimes, more than just being on the same page. The two knew each other well and Akemi knew that if she was going to do something, she could count on Chifu having her back and possibly knowing what she would be doing without even speaking about it. And the same could be said, the other way around.

And yet, there appeared to be one thing that the two had yet to achieve the same level of synchronicity on. At this point, any thoughts of a past life were far from the young Luchador's mind. Just by looking at how she acted, one would have a hard time picture her as being anything close to resembling the conventional ideas of how a princess would carry herself. And to listen to her talk?

It seemed as far fetched an idea as any. After the toast and celebratory drink, Akemi turned back to the blushing and giggling Chifu. Her aunt was away on business again. That wasn't all that strange, nor was her offer to sleep over. The offer was one they had extended to each other on more than one occasion, often when a pair of parents, or legal guardian was away. It didn't take Akemi long to answer.

"Sounds good!" she said, "My parents are probably a little...'busy' right now. Hanging out here is gonna be a lot more fun! I'll have to send a message to them. Later."

Akemi didn't even want to think about what was going on back at the Araceli household. Nor did she want to think about what surface may, or may not, be broken.

Wonderfully Akemi was just as willing as always to spend a prolonged time with Chifuyu, as they had been doing for a long time. From just a visit that had failed to awaken the inner princess it had become a sleepover! Chifuyu figured she would probably have to run to the Mini Stop near the apartment to pick up some extra snacks and perhaps some soft serve ice cream for the two of them, just to make it really feel authentic. That could wait until after they'd finished their tea and had a chance to do other things around the place for a while. Just what would they do, though? She stared at her cousin, blushed a bit more and found that she really didn't have any ideas for further activities. Now that her first intervention hadn't worked she had to go back to the drawing board. Some other gimmick would have to work where the dark warrior of justice had failed. Much thought would have to go into selecting just the right one to make the champion of her heart remember who she was. But before that? Now there was a challenge.

"I see.. well you can stay here as long as you want! I'll make sure that the extra futon is ready for you to sleep on if you'd like.. unless you want to sleep in the bed instead," Chifuyu suggested with a lopsided grin of anticipation, then blushed when she figured out she was doing that. Frowning, she tried to think of something to change things up a bit.

Then she it on it and launched herself to her feet, grabbing Akemi's wrist in the process. No words were spoken as she marched over to the staircase and up to her bedroom with her cousin in tow. Together they would move inexorably forward to her bedroom, no one else in the apartment and the curtains drawn for privacy. All to show off something special and exciting which awaited within the bedroom itself. There was that look of excited stupidity on Chifu's face which almost always meant trouble due to her lack of competence in planning things out. Nothing was going to stop her from showing off this big, new surprise that Akemi could never have anticipated in a thousand years! Once they'd stepped over her computer she pushed her door open and winked at Dwayne, who was still laying on her bed lazily. With an upward swoop of her arm she indicated the new poster on her wall, one of a girl in a costume that had to have been put together at the last second. Nothing else could explain the lack of coordination or the sparkly helmet. It featured the phrase 'SHOCK THE WORLD!' and had a bolt of electricity in between the second and third words.

"Behold! The newest poster in my collection!" she announced excitedly as she made her big reveal.

"Awesome! Sounds good, but I think I'll --" Akemi was about to finish her answer in regards to the sleeping arrangements, when Chifu suddenly leaped into action. In a flurry of action, her cousin took her by the wrist and soon they were off. Just what she was looking to do was anybody's guess.

Akemi followed along, somehow keeping her glass from spilling all of over the floor. Although she would tell you it's due to her incredible dexterity. The journey took the pair upstairs, and to her room, where her dog lounged about on her bed.

But, they finally arrived at the true purpose of this little visit. A poster featuring possibly their favorite character. Akemi's face broke out in another wide grin. Now this was certainly something to be excited about! She turned to Chifu pumped a fist, "Nicely done!" she cheered, "It looks fantastic!"

And the large representation of their favorite manga certainly complimented the room rather well. According to Akemi, anyways.
