Flies to the Sweet Necter! Sailor Retipuj Appears! (Usagi, Open)

The sky was quiet clear that morning as Nariko awoke. She stood from her bed and stretched, then walked over to the sink in the corner of the room and ran the water, filling the basin. When it was filled, she turned the tap off, stripped and began to wash. She picked up a towel once she was done and dried herself. She dressed in some casual clothes, a black long sleeved top and a pair of dark blue jeans, despite it being a school day. They wouldn't question her absence, she'd already called in sick the previous night. Today was a big day.

Today was the day she would show herself.

She ran down stairs, grabbing her bag as she went. She slipped her shoes on, did them up then ran out the door, locking it behind her. She glanced at her watch on her left wrist. Five minutes before the bus arrives. Plenty of time She put on a burst of speed and rounded the corner and saw the bus stop just ahead of her. She smiled as she slowed to a walk. She arrived at the bus stop and only had to wait a couple of minutes before the bus arrived. She entered, paid and took her seat.

Nariko thanked the driver and climbed off the bus. She walked up the street a bit then turned a corner, walking along that street for several minutes before she stopped outside a building. She reached into her bag and, after rummaging for a moment, pulled out a key. She used the key to unlock the shutters on the front of the building, then used a different key to unlock the door. She entered and locked the door behind her.

The inside had a simple tiled floor, with tables and chairs along both walls. At the end of the room was a counter, with a cash register. A large menu hung above the counter, with a fridge containing cold drinks on the wall near the counter. Nariko sighed and walked towards the counter. She lifted part of the counter and entered the back of the restaurant. She picked up a cloth and some polish and headed back to the front, where she began to polish the tables.

An hour later and everything was ready. The floor had been mopped, the tables cleaned and polished. The menus and condiments had been laid out. She smiled and opened up the front door, before walking to the back.

She pulled a chefs hat from her bag and donned it. 'Dark Power! Activate!' The hat glowed and the light spread until it covered her entire body. A moment later the glow faded and instead of the teenaged schoolgirl with short pink hair and green eyes, there now stood a young woman with pink hair to just past her shoulders and brown eyes. She wore a simple long sleeved shirt and black trousers under a dark blue apron. Nariko opened her eyes and smiled as her staff entered through the back entrance.

'Okay everyone!' she said, her voice, while still sounding like her was rougher. 'This is out big day, so let's make the most of it.' Her small number of staff nodded and smiled. 'Okay let's get to it!' With that everyone took their places, ready to do their jobs.

Nariko was in the placed she loved to be; in the kitchen of a restaurant, cooking for the public. She smiled as she started preparing the ingredients that would be needed for the day.

Almost as soon as the sign was flipped from Closed to Open, they had their first customer of the day. When the order came through, Nariko smiled and began cooking the order.

But inside she was ecstatic. Our first victim of the day already! Sailor Retipuj could have cheered, but she focused on the job at hand. Fulfilling the order, but there would be something extra that the customer didn't order. A spell that would allow Sailor Retipuj to manipulate his emotions. Now, what should I do? Ah, yes! She focus, her hat glowing purple as the spell was cast. Now you will feel, speak and think negatively about the senshi! With that she passed the order over the counter to one of the servers, who took the meal over to the customer. This is is going to be a good day!

Nariko glanced up at the clock and saw it was time for the schools to let out. Only about four hours before they would close up shop and already several people had proven susceptible to the spell. She smiled as she fulfilled another order.

Actually taking time off was such a rare thing for the Araceli girl.  If she wasn't at school, or studying, she was training.  If she wasn't training, she was listening to Marius drone on about...whatever it was he liked talking about.  So, Akemi wanted to make the most of these rare days.  She was determined to enjoy it.  After all, the weather was nice!  What more could she ask for?

Akemi was dressed in one of her usual outfits.  The olive green shorts, black tank top underneath a yellow hooded track jacket that had the usual black stripe down the sides.  A pair of sneakers rounded things out.  Black and look in rather good condition.  First acquired during a particularly eventful excursion to the mall, that ended with a meeting with her cousin and their good friend Yuna.  And also included the making of a new friend.  That blonde haired odangoed girl named Usagi.

Life had been rather eventful, since then.  Her encounter with that masked fiend, known only to her as Ultimo Diablo.  Discovering that she was, in fact, a Senshi.  Among other things.  And so, the chance to just go for a walk and try to make sense of things was very welcome.  With a rather confident grin on her face, she walked down the street, hands in her pockets as she passed the time.

And as she did, she spied a rather familiar hair style glued to a window.  The girl that hairstyle belonged to, was the very same she had met at the mall not all that long ago.  Pleasantly surprised, she walked over and did not hesitate to give a friendly pat on the back.

"Blondie!" she greeted, cheerfully, "How ya been?"

'Welcome to Mokusei Kagami!' the girl on the till said cheerfully as another customer entered. 'What would you like today?' Nariko didn't listen to what was ordered as she was busy putting the finishing touches to the order from before.

Today was going to be a good day! They had already broken even for the day! Even if she took off money for supplies, if things continued like this, she might be able to afford to buy herself some decent food for home! Maybe she'd be able to cook something that Makoto would like! She shook her head, pushing those thoughts aside. Focus! Ah! More potential victims! She did a mental calculation and figured she had three more to go. Of course she could do more, but she'd be ill tomorrow. She finished the order, handed it over and received the next one. She focused on the customer who had placed this order. She sighed, they weren't susceptible to the spell. So she just concentrated on fulfilling the order, handing it over.

There was a gap in the orders, so Nariko risked a glance out over the partition at the customers in her restaurant. She smiled. They were enjoying her food! Her cooking! The sight filled her with joy. She glanced out the windows, to see if there were any more customers and wasn't surprised to see two girls, probably around her own age, well, when she wasn't wearing her chefs hat. They were looking in at the menu, and, the blonde one in particular, was drooling at the images of her cooking.

For some reason, Nariko smiled when she saw the two girls. As she watched them, a familiar feeling washed over her. She frowned as a pang of recognition struck, but was quickly gone. She looked at the girls again, wondering if she'd get the same sensation. But nothing happened. She shrugged, turned and headed back to the kitchen to await the next order.

"It's finally over." Chibiusa said sighing. She was coming straight from a remedial English class that ran longer than it should have. "But at least I've got a day off." She said smiling softly. Her stomach grumbled quite loudly as she walked down the side walk. "I wish they're were somewhere nearby that I could eat." She held her stomach as it growled. She soon spotted a display of different deserts and pastries from a window sill as she walked down the sidewalk. She slowed down to a stop and stared at the delicious deserts. She looked at them hungrily, as if she could almost taste them. "T-They look...so...Delicious." That's when she decided to go in there and get something. Maybe one of everything.

As Chibiusa walked in, she spotted a display of more delicious looking pastries then there had been in the window. Looking around she spotted a lot of different people crowding inside the restaurant. "Hm this place must be pretty popular." she said to herself as she looked around. Looking to the side of her she spotted someone who she thought she'd never see here. It was her mother...well...of the past but still her mom. "U-Usagi!" Chibiusa said surprised. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the game center, or maybe, I don't know...Studying?" Chibiusa hoped to hide the reason of her being here at the moment a secret by getting on Usagi.

Then a girl came up from behind and patted Usagi on the back from behind. The voice was unfamiliar to Chibiusa. She turned around to see Akemi acting quite friendly with Usagi. "Who is this?" she said pointing to Akemi.

The blonde girl from the mall let out a startled "Eeep!" before she turned around and greeted her. Akemi returned that grin with a rather hearty one of her own. "Well, I had the day off, so I thought I'd just go for a walk and see what was around." she replied, "That's when I saw you here!"

The rest, as they say, was history. "So, you're checking this shop out, eh?" she gestured to the window Usagi had been smooshing her face against. Actually, a snack sounded pretty good to her. Even if it was a sugary treat, like the ones provided inside that shop! She gladly followed the blonde senshi inside the shop and took a look around.

As she weighed out her options, a conversation caught her ear. Her friend had apparently found some other acquaintance of her's and was starting to get into a bit of a heated argument. Prying herself away from the important decision making process of what baked good to buy, Akemi turned to find Usagi talking to some shorter girl with pink hair. A younger girl, too. Perhaps a relative of some sort?

"Hi!" she greeted the younger girl as they were introduced, "Nice to meet ya!"

She stuck her hand out and was ready to give a very firm handshake, as her friend trailed off. The exact relation this Chibiusa had with Usagi was somewhere at the end of that sentence. But, Akemi was certainly not figuring that part out, right now.

Chibiusa returned the greeting with a smile and a handshake. Akemi had already placed her hand out. It'd be rude not to take it. She acted natural and completely disregarded Usagi's stutter. "Why hello, I'm Chibiusa. Usagi's Cousin." She couldn't let Akemi know that she was Usagi's future daughter. Just by using context clues she was able to figure that out. The glory of the sweets somehow drew her attention once more. They just brought out a new tray. Who exactly was it making these sweets? They looked well made.

"Wow! Whoever made these sweets must be really talented."

It was so funny how much she resembeled her own mother. They're actions were as similar as their hairstyle. She resumed focus over towards Usagi who she enjoyed teasing. "You know you should be studying, or else you'll get kicked out the house, again!" Chibiusa giggled a bit. Her grandmother never went easy on Usagi when it came to her schoolwork. Chibiusa had seen this first hand after all. "I bet you'd study if Darien helped you."
