wardrobe;; More commonly than not you're bound to see Ami wearing the standard uniform of Juuban High School, given to all students when they enroll there.  Outside of classes she most likely will be seen wearing comfortable but unremarkable civilian clothes that are generally girly in nature.  Depending on what she's doing she sometimes will also be found to wear glasses.

personality;; Ami is a fairly shy girl who has a hard time making friends while having a reputation as a near super genius with an IQ of 300.  Often others confuse her shyness for aloofness, assuming that she simply sees herself as above others due to her intellect.  This is hardly the case, though, as she's actually quite a sweet and kind-hearted girl who just isn't as confident in herself as some of her classmates.  Though she once relied others' opinions her friends have helped bring about more confidence in her.  A sensible girl, she abhors fights, especially those between Rei and Usagi.  While she's a very dedicated student she also has interest in both romance novels and pop culture, though it embarrasses her to admit as much.

fears;; Ami is certainly afraid of losing her friends; it's so hard for her to make them that seeing them vanish from her life would be devastating for her.  Additionally she's terrified of innocents being harmed during her battles against evil.

sailor fuku;; As her powers would suggest, Mercury's fuku pairs the universal white with the color of water, blue.  Her collar, skirt and the tops of her elbow length gloves are a dark blue while the bows are a light blue. The middle of her chest bow is decorated with a dark blue heart, while her tiara holds a blue stone in the center.  Her choker matches her collar and skirt, and bears a golden star in the center.  Completing the outfit is her knee high boots which come to a point just above the knees, light blue trimming their top.

Micro-Miniature Super Computer - While not a weapon, this is a powerful and useful support tool. With it she can make special calculations, scan her surroundings, track the movements of allies as well as foes, and determine her enemies' weak points.

Mercury Goggles - Used in conjunction with her computer, they analyze the area around her and display information in front of her eyes and on the computer's screen.

attacks and techniques;;

Sabão Spray! -  Primarily a defensive attack, involving the formation of fog, which reduced overall visibility in the area. It also lowered the temperature of the area by a few degrees.

Sabão Spray Freezing! - Similar to Sabão Spray, except it lowers the temperature to well below freezing, encasing anything within the fog in ice.

Shine Aqua Illusion! - During the attack, droplets of water spin around Sailor Mercury, who then collects them in her hands, sending the water forward toward her target. Not only can this attack damage an enemy, it cand also freeze them in a block of ice, giving her allies time to attack.

Mercury Aqua Rhapsody - For this attack, a watery lyre materializes and Mercury plays it, firing a water blast that can potentially destroy or freeze its target.

Mercury Aqua Mirage - This attack sees Sailor Mercury summon a globe of water, which then split into several streams that shoot toward her target; when the streams madk contact, the target is engulfed by a larger globe of water, which then bursts and can potentially destroy whatever is inside of it.

crush and sexuality;; Ami's such a dedicated student that she doesn't really spend much time thinking about sexuality and romance.  Occasionally she's expressed interest but it'd always been fleeting before.  Now, she's come to terms with the fact that she may in fact be in love with another of the senshi.  Not that she's going to reveal the information without getting incredibly embarrassed.

history;; Ami comes from a family that, while unconventional for Japan, has never hurt for money.  Her mother was a doctor and made enough for the two to live in a condominium despite an absentee father.  Early on she gained a reputation as an excellent student rumored to have an inhumanly high IQ and consistently amazing test scores.  Unfortunately her shy nature generally cause classmates to view her the wrong way and she had some insecurity issues which made it hard to correct these appraisals.  Some girls though she was cold as a robot since she had no friends and all she ever did was study.

One fateful afternoon she happened to be strolling home when suddenly Luna dropped down on her head.  Rather than be shocked at the turn of events Ami pet the unexpected guest and remarked on how she'd thought it was an angel falling from heaven.  Scientific minded as she was, Ami was pretty embarrassed at the admission.  However she caught the attention of one Usagi Tsukino, who later became one of her best friends.  Together they went to the arcade where Ami managed to log the high score on the Sailor V Game, receiving a pen as a prize before realizing she was running short on time.

The next day Usagi invited her out for ice cream, but after overhearing a pair of students mentioning having to go to the Crystal Seminar declined.  After all her teacher had high expectations for her so of course she needed to go there as well!  As it turned out the teacher there was a youma, whom tried to kill her when Sailor Moon turned up.  Before the youma could make good on its threat her prize pen glowed and the symbol of Mercury appeared on her head just before mist appeared.  Once the enemy fell, Ami was decked out in the uniform of a senshi, and informed that she was Sailor Mercury!  From that point on, she's fought alongside her princess and the other inner senshi.

sample rp;; This would obviously all be a lot easier if a certain Rabbit would simply develop better study habits.  They'd known each other for going on two years and still she needed help preparing for the occasional big test.  In all honesty the blue haired sixteen year old didn't really mind helping her friends study all that much.  She got to both hang out with them and partake in one of her favorite activities all at once, so that was always a plus!  Sometimes she just really wished that Usagi would manage to find inspiration to study math a bit harder though; she did't see what the big problem was, really, the current lesson was absolutely fascinating if a bit simple for Ami's tastes.  Nonetheless she was resolved to ensure that her friend got the highest grade she was capable of, no matter how long it took.

Except they were supposed to have met ten minutes ago in front of the station.  No doubt there had just been some delay on the blonde's end of things, which was pretty typical of her.  Rather than be upset by the girl's difficulties with punctuality Ami had thought ahead.  She sat on a bench that while perfectly visible to pedestrians didn't have anyone around it.  Its relative isolation allowed her to partake in another love of hers - a romance novel!  Newly released and purchased, it was just getting to a fairly.. intimate part when she thought she spotted some blonde pigtails bouncing up the street in her direction. Closing the book rapidly, she tucked it away in her school bag and waved to her late arriving friend. The tinge of rosiness in her cheeks was the only indication of what she'd been up to just moments before.
