personality;; Natalie is perceived as this harsh, ‘don’t take crap’ punk girl, and that’s exactly what she wants. Sure she may actually be the punk they see, but there is much more to her than that. Let’s get through the Punk side first though, okay? For starters, she doesn’t like school, like whatsoever, so she rebels at any chance given. She skips, she talks back, she fights, she gets detention, Friday-schools, temporary suspensions.. The list could go on.. Gym is really the only class she behaves in, able to get her energy out appropriately. Though she may get in all this trouble, she still gets rather, decent grades, though decent must not be taken lightly. Natalie doesn’t have many friends, but she does have many acquaintances, and all those happen to be male. She doesn’t get along with females too well. Due to this, Natalie has gotten quite a bit athletic, not that she wasn’t already. She doesn’t care what other people’s opinions are either, and will commonly laugh.

Though this, truthfully isn’t the case. Another part of Natalie wishes she could get herself to be a bit more feminine, to have a girlfriend she can share everything with, to be a best friend. These words hurt Natalie more than she lets on, or will ever tell. This is one of the burden she carries, along with more, alone. She also, like many other females, wants a romantic life, though if asked she’d fervently deny it. Yet she’s never had a boyfriend, and finds herself feeling rather jealous of those that do. Though it’s not all just wishes, Natalie truly is a kind girl. She loves to help people, literally loves it. She can commonly be seen helping homeless, feeding strays, playing with children or helping lost kids, helping elderly people.. Yet if anyone sees it and mentions it, she would deny it with anger of course. When not at school or helping people, she can be found in a variety of places with her guitar and singing, just for the fun of it. This is the time you can find her in pure bliss, she loves singing. To have the attention, the spotlight, the heat, the crowd.. It just thrills her!

history;; Born to an American father and a Japanese Mother, Natalie didn’t have the best of childhood’s. Her father commonly was at work, so she hardly ever saw him for a while, and her mother never paid attention to her, always saying to stop bothering her, or stop being so needy. She was a child, what would one expect, right? It was soon that Natalie figured out, if she couldn’t get positive attention, she could get it negatively. So even at a young age, Natalie began to act out. She threw tantrums, she bullied other kids, she took things that weren’t hers, she didn’t obey.. Though she got the attention she was looking for. It was common for yelling to be heard within the house, and it was common for yelling to be heard within the house. She got her fair share of physical punishments too, however, if not even a little to the extremes, yet it changed nothing. Natalie wanted her parents' to look at her, and this seemed to be the only way.

As Natalie grew older, her behavior only worsened. One night, her father's work called for some family ball thing, she didn't fully understand it but it was so he can get a promotion. They pleaded with her, and at first, thinking maybe now she could get positive attention. Yet as the night droned on, no one said a single word to her, not even a hello, hell they didn't even spare a glance in her direction. Natalie grew very angry, why bother being good if she wasn't going to get anything out of it? She just wanted a little attention, just a little. So, to get it, Natalie acted out worse than she ever had before. The owner of this company, and the others, looked down on her behavior, appalled she could act in such a manner, especially from being raised by one of their employees. This reflected upon her mother and father, and he not only didn't get the promotion, he got fired from how angry they all were, thinking if he can't raise a simple child he was no good for the company. That night Natalie got the worse punishment of all; nothing. No yelling, no hitting, not even a glare. Natalie cried, begging for them to do something and that she was sorry, but to no avail. It finally clicked for her, they'd never look at her with love and affection, and now not even with hatred. She was nothing..

So Natalie went elsewhere for it. She began to hang around the wrong crowd, and at only thirteen Natalie was well-known for truancy, underage drinking, theft, drug use, fighting, public disturbances and so much more. Her criminal record could make anyone's hair curl. Though it didn't change anything at home, and that only fueled her more. She wanted to escape, to numb the pain that she felt inside.

At fifteen, Natalie nearly died from alcohol poisoning. She woke up in the hospital, and the nurses explained what happened. She had passed out in an alleyway, they assume trying to walk home. Her body began to react negatively to the alcohol amount within her system. It was a homeless woman that had begun to use some medical techniques on her to keep her stable as she yelled at others to call an ambulance. When they arrived on the scene, she even insisted upon riding in the ambulance with her to the hospital, and waited impatiently in the waiting room as they worked on helping Natalie. When they told her Natalie was going to be fine with minimal damage to her liver and the rest of her body, she cried, and visited the few days she was in a slight coma and only now just left. This confused Natalie. Why would a stranger go to such extremes for her?

Natalie got to meet this woman the next day, who came right on schedule. She greeted her happily, as if she had known Natalie all her life. Natalie reacted solemnly however, and asked why she did what she did. The woman was seemingly surprised by this question, and asked Natalie, 'aren't you glad I did? Don't you want to be alive? you're just a baby.'. This was the first time Natalie was asked something like this, and she began to sob. She said no, and for the first time in her life she was able to spill everything to someone without them rejecting her or judging. This woman listened to her silently, and held her as she spoke. This was the first time she was given attention she always craved. The woman pitied the girl, and spoke with her, giving her advice and working with her through it. This changed her life, and eagerly awaited her return each day as she recovered. When she was released, Natalie agreed to go to rehab, and bid farewell to the woman.

When Natalie returned, she looked for this woman, however she never did see her again, and no one really knew of her. Only the doctors and nurses that took care of her knew, and even they hadn't seen her since the day she went to rehab. Natalie soon became convinced that the woman was something of a guardian, and so not to let her down, Natalie made it her goal to better herself. She is going on three years sober.
